A resident of Longboat Key since 2002, Cindy combines local market knowledge with an extensive background in accounting. With a passion for the island lifestyle, Cindy enjoys helping buyers fulfill their dream of owning a piece of paradise. Her goals include helping both buyers and sellers be well-informed to maximize the value of their investment in real estate.
Cindy is a licensed CPA and has had a career in corporate accounting in several industries including banking, manufacturing, and wholesale distribution. Throughout her career, she has been involved in technology and business process improvement and believes strongly in utilizing technology to benefit her customers. Beyond accounting, Cindy has experience in overseeing the design and new construction for her own personal residences and as a company controller involved in office expansion.
Cindy is the daughter of a U.S. Marine officer and was born in Atlanta, GA. She graduated summa cum laude with a double major in business and accounting from High Point University in North Carolina. She began her accounting career in Winston-Salem, NC, and later transferred to Atlanta before settling on Longboat Key.
Cindy is dedicated to local causes and has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, Turtle Watch, and island beach and bay cleanups. In her spare time, she and her husband love to play tennis and sail. They spent several years adventure sailing between Longboat Key and the Bahamas and Caribbean islands.
